I think it’s safe to say that Charley is dogging my footsteps, so much so that she got in the shower with me today. Let me tell you, having a bath is her least favorite activity, so why she thought this was a good idea is beyond me.
While having a tiny dachshund shadow is cute, she is very attached and really doesn’t like to be left alone. This worries me a bit. I’m a newbie when it comes to puppies and dogs in general, so I’m learning, but I hope that this is more a puppy thing and she’ll be okay when she gets a little older.
Right now I’m around most of the time and the house always has people in it, but sooner or later it’s just going to be the two of us and I’m going to be at work during the day. I just hope she doesn’t have a nervous breakdown when that day comes. If you see a girl walking a twitching, bald miniature dachshund down the street in a few months, it’s probably me and my little Chaz.
