Last night was the AIGA/NY Holiday Bash. It was awesome.
Then I got on the train to go home, with a piece of pizza, so that wasn’t too bad either.
The tables turned somewhere around Jamaica station when I completely passed out. I woke up when the train was approaching Farmingdale, which is about half an hour from where I was supposed to have gotten off.
Dumbass.
I’ve never done that before. So now I’ve joined the formidable ranks of my grandfather, father, brother and sister, all whom have fallen asleep on the train only to have to make pleading phone calls to be rescued from far off destinations (or taken a $60 cab ride of shame home).
Ah the LIRR.
